现代社会，经济发达，物质资源丰富，还是要反思一下古代先贤的智慧。孝顺应该是什么？也许你承诺未来？让父母住高楼，穿丝绸，吃山珍海味，用金银家具。但在孔子看来，这些都不是“孝”！孔子认为，要被称为孝顺，你必须在父母面前始终保持愉快的表情；如果你对父母有什么疑问，可以提出来。但是，给出建议的方式要稍微委婉一些。如果不采纳，就要保持尊重，不要得罪父母。虽然难免会有意见，但也不会有怨念。
